Anybody have any dress designing and sewing tips??!!?

    Hi my name is Taylor, and at the end of this year I am graduating from year 7. Our school is having a year 7 dance, and all the girls wear dresses. I have looked in some shops, but all of the nice dresses are way too big for me. Because of this, I have been thinking that it might be easier to design and make my own, but I don't know where to start.

    Can somebody please tell me what steps I should take to make my own dress, and perhaps how to make a dress my own size?

    Hey Girl!!

    Way to go! First, you'll need a sewing machine and sewing skills!

    Next, I would go to JoAnn's or Walmart and buy an EASY pattern, you can look through them and find a cute dress pattern.

    Then you can pick out fabrics.

    And follow the pattern.
