Anybody know about tattoos?

    I had a wing tattooed to my ankle yesterday afternoon (no color.) I love the tattoo, apart from the fact that the artist did more shading than I would have liked. I don't want it removed, but is there anything I can do to safely fade the tattoo without distorting its shape or making it blotchy, so that it will appear less dark? Thanks alot
