As a man, could I be a bridesmaid and wear a bridesmaid dress?

    I am a man and I would like to be in a wedding as a bridesmaid.
    I am not gay and love women and I like to wear dresses.

    I have worn dresses and skirts in the past and would now love
    to be in a wedding as a bridesmaid.

    I have no female friend that is getting married soon; however, I would still like the opportunity to be a bridesmaid for someone!

    Any suggestions?

    I have also thought that it would be nice to wear a nice dress to a formal event where men typically have to wear a tux such as the formal nights on a cruise.

    Tuxedos basically all look the same! Sure you can change the tie, cumber bun or shirt color, but still all the men are nearly all dressed the same.

    There is nothing dressier that a nice cocktail dress or an evening gown.

    If the bride doesnt matter then sure! Just make sure it looks right. You probably don't want to accentuate anything that would make you look overly manly.. . however you could still be a bridesmaid and wear a tux with matching bridesmaid coordinating pieces. hope this helps
