I have small thin lashes that never curl! In the past I've used Maybeline XXL and XXXL, the green and pink tube mascara, like 3 different Covergirl ones and my eyelashes are never thick and full and lovely. Anyone have any suggestions for something they have used that made their lashes longer and gave more volume?? & maybe an eyelash curler that does the job as well. If you already have Heffalump lashes you don't count, so please only girls with crappy lashes like mine. Also, please no $1000 mascara brands. Thanks!

I have the same problem! My eyelashes are short and thin. One brand of mascara that I found works really well is Maybelline Lash Stiletto Volumptuous. It looks like this

Make sure you get the volumptuous one and not just the regular one. It works really good and costs like $10 at most. Good luck girl!

you should definitely try ARTDECO long lasting mascara, it doesn't clump AT ALL but it makes your lashesI darker and curls them really good. I tried it and was amazed; it's perfect.

I have the same problem as you do! It seems as though I'm on a quest for naturally thick, curled eyelashes. My sister has them - and boy, I'm envious! When she actually applies mascara, it looks like she's wearing false eyelashes.

Well, I'm a shopper at Sephora. If you've never been, I would give it a try. My eyes are almond-shaped and the lashes are difficult to curl. At least without some major pinching.

One of the ladies that work at Sephora recommended the shu uemera eyelash curler ($19). It has a wider base, making it easy to curl all of my lashes. But, if you have completely stumpy lashes, try the shu uemura mini curler ($17). It's made to curl the tiniest lashes with precision.

As for mascara, Clinique HD Brush, Then Comb ($14) is the BEST. If you do a little research, it is considered one of the top mascaras on the market. I know that both the curlers and the mascara are pricier than drugstore ones, but Clinique mascara will last 3x longer than your average drugstore mascara. And most Maybelline and Loreal mascaras are about $11....what's a few bucks more to give it a try?

What's good is if you decide to go to Sephora and don't like any of the products, you can return all of them for a refund, even if they've been used.

Hope this gives you some options~

P.S. I started using a Lash Accelerator. It's called Ardell Lash & Brow Excel. You can get it at a Sally Beauty Supply for about $12. I noticed I had longer and thicker lashes after about 2 weeks use.
