    Uhm, I don't know you at all but i'd like to give you some advice because it sounds like you need it. You guys may not have been in a fist fight but no parent should be leaving bruises on her child, not ever. It doesn't matter what you did she has no reason to put her hands on you, let alone actually leave a mark. By the sounds of it, the bruise sounds pretty bad. Maybe you should get a family member that you trust to look at it to make sure it's nothing serious and go from there.
    I'm sure you're a really great person with lots of loving friends and family (no, I haven't heard both sides of the story) BUT, I think you should be in a safer environment where people can act appropriately in a tough situation.
    I hope none of this offended you, I would never mean it to be offending I just think that there are other ways to handle this type of question..
