Ok, so yesterday i got my ears pierced at a Salon and i don't really like the earring but they suggested to keep it on for like 1 month before changing the earring. my friends says its no problem to change it right now but I'm scared it'll get infected or something. My friend gave me one of her earrings and I want to change it right now but it's only been 1 day after i pierced my ears. Will it be okay if I sanitize the earring she gave me and wear it?

Its really not bad to change the earring, as long as the earring isnt a type of metal that would irritate your ear, or your allergic to the metal.

It's not a good idea to change the earring. Firstly it is going to hurt because you are poking it through an open wound, it might bleed as well. Also, you are going to have to do it very quickly as the ear can start to close up within about 30 seconds since the piercing is so fresh. I highly advise that you keep them in for the month so they have a chance to heal and won't close up so fast.
