Gauges? Flood me with information.?

    I am going to get gauges. First, I need to know a bit more about them. Do you have to start from the smallest sizes and change them every 2 months to bigger ones? Can you do them on your own or do you have to go to someone to get them? Also, I hear its painful, and I hear its not painful. Sorry, stupid questions. Haha.

    i and my friends gauged our ears
    on our own just fine

    we all just kind of went at our own pace
    it hurts pretty bad lol and they can smell
    god awful but worth it, if that's what you want
    it's almost a proud feeling that you got through it heh :]

    i would suggest going at it one size up at a time
    and waiting at very least like 3 weeks to size up

    it's painful, definitely.
    really think about it before you do it, because in a few years when you don't want them anymore, dependent on how big you go, you'll have to get the holes in your ears sewn back up.
    it's not an easy fix to go back, once you take them out.
    trust me.
