Girls, why do you torture yourselves with your clothes?

    I know this doesn't apply to all of you, but I still don't get why so many women torture themselves with their own clothing. I've heard friends, schoolmates and even strangers complain about how something they're wearing hurts, is too hot/cold for the weather (usually cold, in the form of something much too skimpy), or is too tight to move in.

    So why does it seem like so many women are willing to give up comfort for style? I'm not the most stylish of girls myself, but (judging by comments and compliments on some of the things I wear) I'd like to think that I look good while still being totally comfortable in my clothes.

    Ha, you know what the sad thing is? Over half of the clothes I own from Hollister is guy's. Because it's more comfortable, and still pretty cute. That says something about me, eh?

    To look good, it's worth it. And because men are visual....they don't care if something is comfy or not, they just want us to look good.

    because many girls are really self conscious, and often comfortable things aren't exactly fashionable as they prefer it to be. it's just personal preferance. but if its like way too tight and hurts, chances are, it doesnt look great and is probably too skanky.

    most people think of comfortable pants such as sweat pants like pajamas. (if you're dumb, you'll think it is) well its NOT. tight skinny jeans make their legs look skinnier and longer. girls is about fashion and style. ask them.

    Well, I personally only torture myself a little in the clothes I wear. I only do it to look good and make the other girls jealous that I'm thin and actually wear those kinds of things.

    hey im a sucker for that as long as it looks good and you feel sexy/happy with yourself then theyl wear anything

    even though they are not coumfy its mostly to impress men and made be look a tart etc

    Oh my gosh I know just what you mean. I hate when my friends complain about how their shoes are so tight, and how they can't move in these pants. I just wear clothes that I like and feel good in. I think they do it because they're obsessed with looking good. I like the way you think. You aren't shallow like most of the girls at my school.

    I wear jeans and a sweatshirt like, every day to school lmao. And I've been going on the same pair of Converse hightops for 4 years now.

    A lot of that might be because I'm currently a senior in high school, and therefore officially no longer care. But honestly, I never made a big stink about "looking cute" at school or whatever. All the guys in my school revolt me and I'd never date them in a million years, so it's not like I have anyone to impress anyway.

    I'm not a boring douche.
    Because I think pj's shouldn't be worn outside the house and only in the house if your single.
    I think sweatpants should be banned. Juicy or Victoria's Secret are an exception.
