How can I add volume to the roots of my hair?

My hair has a nice amount of volume from the tips of my ears down, wavy and curly, but the top of my head is quite glossy and flat, and hard to do anything with because it becomes so fine! It's weird because the rest of my hair is so wavy. I let my hair dry naturally, so is there any product that I can rub into the roots of my hair to give it a bit more shape? Thanks!

These pictures sort of show what my hair is like, but i'd like my roots to be like theirs!

  3. For products, you can use Sunsilk's volume booster with collagen, also try teasing at the root. Washing hair everyother day also makes it fuller and more manageable. You can use a 2 inch curling iron to give your hair natural volume at the root as well. Hope this helps. (search "hair with volume" into youtube if all else fails)

Try Root Boost from Regis DesignLine.Or Guts from Redken.. I swear upon them. Part your hair where you would want the volume, spray at root area, them rub it in. Also try drying your hair up side down. Or the opposite direction, you would want it to lay
