I put eyeliner in the morning to office, i just noticed that, after lunch it will create a dark black eyebag- like.. I took off the liner and leave the eye shadow, but same thing, it smears at my eye lid- esp mascara tahts why I never put them anymore. Is it because my face is soooo oily? Or any tip/s. My job needs to face diffrent people, need to dress up sometimes. ty in advance toall

  2. It may be because you have oily skin around your eyes, try a gel eyeliner they're alot better than liquid and pencil and they should stay in place for the whole day. Try the Bobbi Brown one its probably the best one I've ever tried. Also maybe try a primer, Urban Decay primer potion and Gosh primer are the best ones you can get but they are a bit pricey but a good investment. Try a Max Factor mascara, it takes alot to get those mascaras off so they should work.

Change your Eyeliner and your Mascara. Do you put powder on your face?

It could be that you have oily eyelids, or it could be the kind of eye shadow & eyeliner you're using. Either way, an eyeshadow base or primer should help. I swear by Urban Decay Primer Potion! It's expensive, but a little goes a long way so it lasts a long time. And it works amazingly. Even after a late night out partying, my eye makeup looks nearly as fresh at the end of the night as it did in the beginning. I've even fallen asleep without taking my eye makeup off (bad bad habit, I know)...and there were no smudges when I woke up :P

As far as eyeliner goes, I switched to Styli-Style line&seal, available online at stylistyle.com (or at your local Rite-Aid). They resist smudging better & last longer than my high-end eyeliners that cost 5x's more!

Unfortunately, with mascara I found that the more expensive brands do work better. DiorShow waterproof mascara is the BEST mascara I have ever used. The brush takes some getting used to, & it's pricey...but it makes lashes look as long & voluminous as falsies. It doesn't flake or smudge, even when I'm using eyedrops. Consequently, it's hard to take off. You have to use a good makeup remover.
