    Tease it(:
But not everyday, cause it's not good to do it to your hair everyday

I am a cheerleader and the poof is our key look! I got you girl! You don't have to tease your hair every time you bump it, assuming you don't have those "un-bumpable" hair types. Here are my steps to doing a bump...Good luck!

Step 1: Section out the part of your hair and how much you want to put in your bump.
Step 2: Brush the rest of your hair back into a tight low ponytail (doesn't have to be perfect) that way you don't get the awkward strands that go into both the bump and the hair that is down.
Step 3: Take the section where your bump will be and pull it toward the back of your head.
Step 4: Easily twist the section of hair where you want the bump to end. (Usually an inch and a half to 2 inches back)
Step 5: Place the twisted part against your head lightly and push forward until your bump is at the height you please.
Step 6: Put at least three bobby pins (and I STRONGLY suggest only bobby pins) facing opposite directions over the twist.
Step 7: Style the rest of your hair as you please.

  3. Tease it slightly, Then pull it back, and then push it forward.

Use a fine toothed comb and a lot of hairspray to tease the part of the hair you want to be high. Once a giant mess of teased hair is achieved, pull it back and smooth down the top visible part with your fingers and hairspray so it looks polished. If it needs some extra help being held up, clip it in the back.
