If you've had it for twelve years it should surely be well healed by now. Unless your just asking if the hole will close up, chances are it will not. Once you pierce any part of your body, the hole will always be there, but it will get smaller and smaller by being filled with dead skin and dirt.

It's hard to say. I've had mine done for 6 years and when I change my belly bar I can see the hole closing up right before my eyes so I have to shove it in quickly. I guess everyone's skin will be different.
