Well, it doesn't hurt that bad. But when I got my eyebrow done, I took it out not too long after so, I don't know how long it takes to heal.
But when my mom got her lip pierced (lol, she thinks she's "hip" xD) it took about 35 days to heal.

I have all of those, going from most to least painful:cartilage (I have an industrial), lip, bellybutton, eyebrow.
All in all, none of them hurt that bad, and any pain only lasts a few minutes after each one. However, if you do your lip, anywhere, it will swell a bit for a few days.
The average cost per piercing is between $30-$60, depending on the shop.
Also, more piercing take a FULL 6-8 weeks to heal, except the bellybutton, that takes a full year to heal properly, however, it is save to change jewelery after the usual 6-8 weeks. The full year of healing is because of the constant movement of your stomach due to breathing/walking etc.
Make sure that if you get any of these done, you DO NOT use hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol, or scented soap of any kind. Even if by chance they get infected.
Sea Salt works best, with a little bit of triple antibiotic cream after.

It's just like a pinch. Like if you went to the doctor and got a shot... only it only hurts for a few seconds not a whole 2 days.

a lip piercing barely hurts its like a pinch. There will be some swelling tho and you'll have to clean it daily after you eat and what not, your also going to want to keep contact away from it during the 1st month or so because of risk for infection. My friends who have their belly buttons pierced said it wasn't painful but afterward to be careful what you wear to ensure it does not hook on to the piercing and cause irritation. What ever piercing you choose is going to be sore for a few days, which is completely normal. its just very important to listen to what the piercer tells you to do to maintain it. Ive seen anywhere from $30 to $60

im thinking about doing my lip, just general or maybe a labret, my cartilage, belly button, or eyebrow.
my pain tolerance is ok, ive gotten my ears done and i didnt feel anything.
how much do they hurt, how long does it take to heal, and how much should they cost?

not too much, its a cool pain not a bad pain. You get an adrelaline rush
