How should I care for my relaxed african hair?

  1. Depending on what kind of relaxer you are using it's always best to follow up with the entire hair line products for best results for example if you used pink luster's or olive oil you should use there other products too. Since your hair is damaged as you stated you could try "Aphogee" hair care products especially there 2 minute reconstructor conditioner, keratin & green tea spray, the aphogee leave in conditioner and shampoo for a few months and that should help your hair. I've used it before and it was pretty good. You can buy it at sally beauty supply stores.

omg im 14 too..i had the same problem i have african hair and since i was 10 i relaxed it..but it makes your hair dry..so i went to a new hairstylist and now i get the brazilian treatment..which is basically a deep conditioner that makes your hair straight..and it doesnt make it dry..ask your hear dresser about it..plus when my hair feels kind of dry or if i swim in a pool or something i use this shampoo and conditioner called goldwell kerasilk..and it make smy hair have shine and helps it stay silky and prevents damage..and also try not to flat iron your hair so much..i know that if u dont it will like turn curly and weird looking but brush it back slick into a high bun and maybe put a bow or something stylish in it..i stopped straightening my hair for exactly 1 month and it was so shiny and healthy and it grew 2 inches:) good luck!:)
