I was sick of having black hair, so I had the idea to bleach my hair 'cause I couldn't find that "color oops" my sister had told me about...as you probably know it didn't go too well. It got some of the black out, but not all. Now I have an orange looking color going on, what can I do to fix it?
Yeah, it looks horrible. At the top of my head is where the orange-ish color is, and the rest is a brown color. Where could I get a good toner?

  2. Oh geeze! YOU NEED A TONER!!!!!!! i cant believe the black lifted!

Also, You could always throw on some more bleach. Just make sure its not overprocessing, and then put the toner on.

Yup you need a toner, probbaly a blue-based one if you have alot of orange color, now go to sallys beauty supply. Theres one called Wella color charm toner in silver lady. The base is very important, you cant just choose a color and think it will work, it neds to be a blue base to take out that orange, toners are not permanent colors. also, pick up a shampoo called clairol shimmer lights, its a deep purple shampoo that will also help tone that orangey-yellowy color down, but u definatly need a toner. If you want to be a lighter blonde though i suggest bleaching it again, bcuz it will not turn out the way you want it to unless you bleach it to atleast a yellow. but it depends on which color it is that you want. goin from black to blonde hair isnt easy i just went through the process myself, n it has taken almost 2 months to achieve the color i want. or ya and damaging too so make sure you get a good deep condtioner and protiene builder afterwards.

I'll post a youtube video that helped me with the toner area and what not while i was goin thru the process. good luck!

If you dont have a sallys beauty supply near you, go check out a salon and see if they have any toners there. Good luck.
