I was going to yesterday, and was, before i realized i was only going to cause severe damage if i didn't do it properly. so i come to you, yahooians, to ask how to properly gauge my lobes.

i got to a pretty good part of what i believe is a 6 or a 4 metal swirl plug... so i don't want to just go from like an 18 to a 12. can i go from that to an 8?

im thinking of getting this later today:

i know i cant just stick them in my ears, but i cant find any tapers that small. keep in mind, hot topic and spencers are the only places in my mall that carry body jewelry like this.
    those or these:

    NO. Do it slowly.
I stretched once a month slowly size by size
and I damaged mine by rushing.

    Here are some tips:

Stretch you're ears in the shower. The hot water makes your ears kindda looser.
Use Vaseline or whatever lubricant you have in the house.
If it hurts or bleeds, stop. It means youve cut your ear and you dont want to stretch the cut and make it worse.
Make sure you clean your equipment in salt water, if you do cut you're ear it's always good to stop it from getting infected.
    Be patient!

Also, if you want small stretchers/tapers go on ebay. There MUCH cheaper there. If your stretching then dont get any decorated ones until you're at the size you want to be at. This way you save money.

  3. You have to go slowly! Standard size is 18G, go to a 16G, then 14G, etc etc. I also rushed mine and sorta screwed them up. Be sure this is what you want to do though, I had got to a size 2G when I got tired of them and took them out and they did stretch back, but not all the way to an 18G. I would also recommend doing it in the shower, I just used dial soap for lubrication.
