I got my ears pierced when I was 7 years old. I stopped wearing earrings all the time because I just hate the way it feels, like wearing a bra at night. So I decided that on special occasions I will wear earring only to cover the holes in my lobes. However I started noticing that no matter how lightweight the earring pull my ears down into a droop or my lobes have a smashed look from the backings. Any suggestions? Is there such a thing as surgery to cover the holes? Will little girl plastic posts be better?

If you are wearing hoops or any dangling type of earring then it may make your ears droop. But how big are the holes in your ears? Because if they are large then yes you can get surgery. But if they are small they are probably not noticeable. Also you can wear clip on earring for special occasions if you feel the need to hide the holes in you ears.

I guess you could try to find a concealer to hide the holes, grow your hair out, or try the plastic earrings. They are a lighter weight than metal so they'd probably be best.
