i have black hair, what colour highlights should i get?

    i'm getting highlights but i dont know what colour i should get.. my hairdresser wants to go with a medium copper blonde but i dont want that. i want a brown that would be noticable maybe caramel? I want something that would look good with might skin colour as well. I'm a light skinned african american. what do you suggest

    blond or auburn highlights look good if your hair is at least shoulder length

    If you are really fair blond would be nice but if you are a little darker copper/brown would look very nice.

    get a combination of a reddish black tone and a caramel-brownish tone. it looks so pretty<3

    i have...or well had burgandy hilights....they were sooo pretty. but i didnt do mine professionally and bought the cheap junk and they washed out to like a light brownish color. soo yea lol i have relaxed hair and do u? if so..then be careful cause coloring (even hilighting) adds to the damage. Just make sure to take good care of your hair afterwards :)
