I love my long hair, but adults will say get it cut, while my friends say keep it long. Idk whether to cut it. Its clean and smooth, and i get frequent compliments on my hair. But idk if i should cut it. suggestions?

Keep it past your ears. Depending on how much your bangs cover your eyes, you might look better with them trimmed. If your bangs cover all of your eyes when your hair is styled like you usually style it, I would get them trimmed a bit. If they just cover a little bit or just one of your eyes ( when I say one, that would be if you have side bangs) then your hair is fine.

Long hair is fine for guys as long as it's clean, like you said it was.

  3. maybe you should just trim it a little bit so it's not too long that it gets in the way of ur eyes...
the adults will prob like it more since it will be neater, but at the same time u get to keep ur hair style

You are not going to make a bad first impression on your friends regardless of how you wear your hair. You will make a much better first impression on the overwhelming majority of adults and even girls your own age if you wear a short clean cut style. Not to mention that short clean cut styles can be designed to fully suit almost any young guy's head shape, face and neck shape, frontal hairline an facial features while a style with the hair covering the eyes and with the hair past the ears fully suits almost no guy. Clean cut shorter styles are also much easier to groom. If the above did not suggest an answer, if you try and find a summer or part time job the answer probably will become apparent. If you decide to get a haircut, the following should help to find a medium to short style that fully suits. If you don't like any of the styles below, maybe take a look at the short, medium, long and celebrity galleries at the haircuts for men site.

Some barbers describe an ivy league as a crew cut just long enough to be parted and combed to the side, if so desired. An ivy league can also be worn with the hair brushed up off the forehead to form the short pomp front, or with the short bangs brushed down on the forehead like a forward brush cut.

Grooming any of the short pomp(pompadour) styles- crew cut, ivy league, flat top crew cut- is basically the same and takes about a minute or two.
    1) Towel dry hair.
    2) Barely dip fingertips in jar of wax.
    3)Transfer wax to palms.
    4) Smooth palms over hair.
5)Brush hair off forehead to form short pomp front.
Whichever style you decide on, be sure to take a photo to help describe the desired haircut to the barber or stylist. If you need more photos of any of the styles discussed above, let me know.
    Good Luck!
