Is it bad to put lotion around a piercing?

    A monroe piercing to be specific. The area is really dry, and I dont know what else to do!

    Well, how healed is the piercing? Did you just get it last week or have you had it a few months? If you just got it I would be careful about what I put around it. Maybe something really gentle, like Aveeno Unscented lotion. Anything with scent is going to make a new piercing burn badly and feel irritated for a while.
