Is the National American Miss Pageant very expensive?

    I'm going to an open call on tuesday, and I've heard that it is VERY expensive to compete in this pageant. I'm just wondering how much it really is when you get down to it. Thanks. :)

    Yes - I've been in that pageant twice when I was younger, its extremely expensive.

    i got the same paper. dont do it its a scam. basically they after you audition you might get a call to go to california to participate but you have to pay for the plane and hotel and stuff. its all a lie
