You're supposed to leave the renewing cleanser on for 1 to 2 minutes. I usually don't leave it on that long, I just scrub it in for a while then wash it off, maybe about 30 seconds.
The toner and lotion you are supposed to leave on.
You put on the cleanser, wash it off and pat your face dry. Put the toner on (I usually use a cotton ball or something like that), leave that on and let it dry, then put on the lotion over that.
I don't have the moisturizer or mask, but I'm pretty sure the moisturizer would go on after it all, then I think the mask is just for you to wear overnight for single pimples, not sure about those though.
I use my fingers for everything except the toner, I use a cotton ball for that.
    Hope this helps. :)

Different acne treatments work differently for different people ;-) but I have compiled some info on Proactiv for you, based on reported experience:

    Proactiv Negatives
    ===================

    - irritating
    - dry out skin
    - expensive to keep having it sent to you month after month
    - clear face up, but as soon as you stop using it the acne might come back
    - it bleaches the cloth...
    - doesn't seem to work as well on blackheads
    - skin became darker
    - temporarily red in areas
    - slight burning sensation when applying toner/repairing lotion

    Proactiv Positives
    ===================

    - really does work
    - clears your face up pretty quickly
    - leaves your face feeling soft
    - reduce the appearance of pores

Put the cleanser on your wet face (can be done in the shower). Gently massage the cleanser over your face and then rinse of thoughoughly with water (should be on your face for about a minute or so).

Gently pat your face dry with a clean towel. Apply the toner all over your face (avoiding eyes and lips) using a cotton ball. Once the toner has dried you can put on the repairing lotion. Just gently massage this into your skin using the tips of your (clean) fingers. Both the toner and the repairing lotion stay on (that is, don't rinse them off).

I wouldn't use the green tea mosturiser and the repairing lotion at the same time. Maybe you could use the mosturiser during the day and the repairing lotion at night. Only use a very small amount to start with as it is strong stuff and it takes awhile for your skin to get used to it.

The cleanser/toner/repairing lotions (or moisturiser) should be used twice daily (in the morning and at night). The refining mask should be used once or twice a week. Put the mask on using (clean) fingers and leave on for as long as directed on the back of the pack (usually 5-10 mins). Then rinse off with warm water and gently pat face dry with a clean towel. Your skin might feel a bit tight after this, so use some of the green tea moisturiser.

Personally, I found Proactiv a bit strong for my skin so I only use the cleanser and the moisturiser. If you find that your skin is feeling irritated then cut back on the usage - maybe only use once per day until your skin is used to it. Or maybe only use the toner OR only use the repairing lotion, not both at once.

    I hope this helps!

I'm going to make some assumptions as I have never used Proactive, but it sounds pretty typical. Use your fingers with the cleanser. Wet your face and hands, then work it into your skin, letting it bubble and clean away the oil and cleanse the pores. Just act like you're washing your hands, but instead it's your face--you wanna get everything and be thorough, but you don't have to let it sit to work. Rinse it all off with lukewarm water and pat your face dry with a towel.
Toners are typically applied by using a cotton ball. Soak the cotton ball and rub it all over your face after patting it dry from washing. Avoid your eyes (also with the cleanser, of course.)
Don't rinse the the toner from your face. Let the toner dry into your skin and then, with your fingers, apply the lotion.
The green tea moisturizer is likely just a different lotion with different benefits from the other lotion.
The mask can also be applied with fingers, and typically masks should be used once a week all over the face. It should instruct you on how long to leave it on, but it probably will tell you to rinse it off with warm water when it hardens or after 15-20 minutes. You can dot just a little onto a pimple to dry the pimple out, and just do this anytime it's necessary. Good luck with your face :)

I used it about a year ago, so I don't remember how often you are supposed to apply it, but I'm sure you'll find everything in the manual..

    Steps:
1.Cleanser: just use as you would use any facial cleanser: apply on damp face and message gently for about 10 seconds or so then rinse.

2.Toner: put some on a cotton ball then gently spread it on your face to tighten your pores.

3.At morning, follow up with moisturizer. Apply a generous amount and message it in circular motion using your clean fingertips.
At night, follow with the repairing lotion using the same technique. also apply moisturizer afterwards.

4.Use the refining mask about twice a week. apply a good amount to cover your damp face, leave it for about 10-20 minutes (check manual) then rinse with warm water. This mask should come after the cleansing step, so toner &/or moisturizer comes after rinsing it.

Tip: it is going to drive your skin insanely sensitive and dry, so :
    moisturize often,
ALWAYS use sunscreen of SPF at least 15.
    Drink lots of water.
Be gentle with your skin especially if it's sensitive.
It doesn't work with all people..

    Hope that helps ;)

If you want you can just use the refining mask by putting it on your pimples!Every step you should take it tells you how and what it's for.
