Okay, so I've had a really healthy monroe piercing for almost a year and today as i was putting a plastic barbel on i don't know how i saw the barbel almost go through all the way in another spot that is not my piercing opening. So, I freaked out and I took out the barbell and noticed it was bleeding a bit. Now, its swollen and it hurts. I already mouth washed my mouth and was able to find my "real" piercing hole. However, should I treat this minor injury as I did to my new piercing? And, when you want to take out the piercing all-together, is there anything recommended to minimize scarring?

Definitely treat this new injury as you did your original piercing. Whether or not you can minimize scarring depends on how well the piercing was done in the first place.
