I'm going to dye my hair a kind of burgundy red, but I'm a little worried about some things that could damage the colour. I'm going to get it done at a hair salon, so it's not going to be temporary or cheap.
thanks to my stupid school we have to swim for over an hour three times a week in the pool, and I'm wondering what the chlorine will do to the colour? How can I stop anything bad from happening (I really don't want to mess my hair up - this will be the first time I've ever dyed it)
and what about salt water? I go to the beach often over the summer and will that have the same effect as chlorine?

Your best bet would be to ask the colourist who is doing your
hair as they will know what chemicals they are using and they can give you the correct advise/after care.Posted 2 years ago #
