which one would you recommend? I want a foundation that:
    -won't clog pores
    -doesn't look cakey
    -gives me full coverage
-stays on for a long time

revlon photo ready, is amazing i tried it out today, it does have tiny little shimmers in it, but its not that noticeable, it covers really good and i have acne scars and it covers it all, doesn't make your pores clog and make it noticeable, and looks cakey, you might want to set it with a powder though i use revlon colorstay pressed powder.

i haven't used maybelline super stay 24 hour foundation yet, but i will probably try it once my other foundations have ran out :) it seems good though..

and the dream liquid mousse foundation WAS HORRIBLE! imo, it broke me out, it made my pores stand out and it made me look cakey, i did not like it at all

Haha, we have the same name! :D

Anyways, the Dream Matte Mousse is horrible. It was just really messy, and I don't recommend it. I've never used PhotoReady, but I hear that it's great, only the shimmers accentuate your pores. In the long run, just try Maybelline Super Stay 24 Hr. I've seen recommendations on here, and you can just return it if you don't like it. (I think, I know CVS and Walgreens have good return policies, but Wal-Mart and Target can choose to not refund you. It depends.)

  4. revlon color stay foundation works really well
it lasts so long for me; i wake up at 6 and get home about 6, and i have tennis practice in that time span for 2 hours and it still stays on and covers
and it absolutely does not look cakey at all.
but you will need to go some blending with it.

I have only tried the dream loiquid mousee and I personally think it looks too cakey, even when you use a tiny bit. BUT that could just be because of my skin tone..........maybe in a lighter shade you couldnt tell as much, I dunno.

    MAYBELLINE SUPER STAY!
    It's soo great.
It meets all of your criteria.
I apply it with a stippling brush.
You can get them at walgreens in this triple set:
    http://www.walgreens.com/store/catalog/Tools-and-Brushes/Mineral-Makeup-Brush-Set/ID=prod5430718&navCount=0&navAction=push-product
(it's the multi-colored one on the far right)

Or here are some other alternates:

    Here's how you apply it:

I will never stray from this.. I get SO many compliments on my skin.
Little do people know, I have freckles and bumps all over my forehead AND blotchy skin!

NO to the dream liquid mousse- it makes your face super cakey and greasy, plus it's super heavy.

I would go between the maybelline super stay and the revlon photo ready foundations- both are really good, and have their advantages in certain areas.

The PhotoReady does have a slight shimmer to it, but not too noticeable- i would recommend this one if you want an everyday foundation to give you a slight glow, with medium coverage.

THe Superstay is matte finish, meaning it has no shimmer, so it's good for photos so you don't look washed out and it has a bit more coverage than the photo ready foundation. I would recommend this if you like to control how much shimmer is on your face because you can always add shimmer with a highlighter.

Both of them have good staying power, it's just a matter of how you apply it. I would recommend moisturizing, priming (optional), applying the foundation then setting it with a powder. my favorite setting powder is the maybelline dream matte powder- it sets your makeup without looking cakey, and really does help absorb some of the oil to prevent shine on your face.

From my experience, I have LOVED Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse. It matches all the criteria that you wanted and matches skin tones perfectly! I love it and have at least 5 bottles in my bathroom now!
