well for my wedding i am planning on doing my own makeup so i need suggestions on what i should use (primers, shadows, mascara, lip liner/gloss, blushes/bronsers), which kind is the best(mac, mabelline, etc) , and good brushes so i have control of the makeup better. something not too expensive. my skin is pretty dry so i dont know if i should even try using foundation.

i dont want to look like a barbie doll either.

my eyes are blue-green so eye shadow colors to make my eyes pop is appreciated.
    thanks for your help!
and i personally dont like lip stick, im more of a lip gloss girl. and do you recommended false eyelashes?

Primer: It's expensive, but amazingly well worth it. It keeps my makeup on and perfect throughout the hot summer days. It's called Urban Decay Primer Potion. It is amazing, you can get it at sephora.com for $18.
For your wedding, you don't want to look too done up. You want to look basic and natural. Try using a few neutral colors. Make the colors darker as you go outwards.
Try a light brown from the corner of your eye, half way outwards.
Then, take a color a shade or two darker and put that next to it, and then another one a little darker than that. You shouldn't exceed that and do not use black! Keep it light and natural. Use a highlight color on your brow bone, such as shimmery white. Use that on the center of your eyelid as well but only a little.
Use a black eyeliner on the bottom and use a liquid or gel eyeliner on the top of your eyeliner.
I personally like CoverGirl Lash Blast Luxe for mascara!
For lips, use a light pink or light peach color. Apply a thin layer of lip balm before you put on the lip stick so your lips stay moist and they don't dry up. Nothing too bright or obnoxious. You want to look natural.
For your face, do whatever you please for concealers and such to conceal any imperfections.
Take a bronzer 1 shade darker than your skin tone, NOT anything orange. Accentuate your cheek bones, this will really help with flash photography and it won't drown your face out and make you look pale.
Chose a light pink for your cheeks.

I personally think any drug store eyeshadow would do well if you use the primer.
www.coastalscents.com has amazing eyeshadow pallets for just 20 dollars, there's 88 colors in one pallet.
MAC has very good lipstick, use whatever lip balm you please.
Eyeliner, Laura Mercier has very good eyeliner.
I like MAC bronzer and blush, along with Lancome.
    I really hope this helps.
    Have an amazing wedding day!

    Good luck to you :)

definitely use mascara. invest in good brushes, and use a moisturizer on your face so it isn't dry. I would practice first a few times before the wedding.

My friend just got married and had her makeup professionally done. It was horrible. She looked like she was going on a theater stage. First off, try a microderm abrasion (Mary Kay makes a good set) 2x a week for a few weeks before the wedding to get your skin as smooth as possible, regardless of the type of makeup you choose.

I prefer Bare Minerals makeup. It's silky with good coverage. If there is a Bare Minerals or Sephora store near by, go there and consult with reps on colors, how to apply, etc. You won't be disappointed!!
