First, i understand the risks involved in tanning..please save any comments in regards to that.
I am quite fair skinned, i have been tanning for 3 sessions for only 5 minutes at a time every couple days. After the second and third session ( a few hours after ) i noticed my back was a pink colour...but after 24 hours the pinkness has vanished. Does this mean i have burned? Any fair skinned people out there have experience in tanning beds? have you achieved a nice tan? i guess im just nervous that ill just turn pink instead of a bronze colour.

  4. haha, I tried tanning once and I am so pale my skin just burned to a lobster crisp. I would either get some better tanning lotion, or look into other tanning methods like spray tanning because the UV rays do not work for everyone.

Like you I'm very fair-skinned. I remember going to a tanning salon once and they basically gave me the same advice. Use the tanning bed for 5 minutes at a time over a period of days, however, this didn't work for me as I got burned. Every time your skin turns pink that means you are getting a 2nd degree burn. This is neither painless nor flattering. So I think the best option for girls like us is to resort to fake tanning. I have tried both spray tanning with a spray gun and the booth. I actually got better results with the spray booth. The first time I did it I went for lever 1 and my second session I went for level 2. The results were fantastic! Give this a try it's worth it!
