Teflon tape for ear stretching, what can I lube it with?

(3 posts)
  1. I am very careful with stretching my ears because I've seen all that can go wrong. I've been trying to stretch my ears from a 4g to a 2g for a few months and they just won't seem to budge. So I went out and bought some teflon tape. I've been using vaseline on my metal jewelry to lube them up but I'm wondering if there's an alternative to oil for lubing up the teflon tape. I can't seem to find emu or jojoba oil in any of the stores by me. I've just been relying on the vaseline and a spray called H2Ocean which is basically just salt water. Suggestions?

You can order soaks and oils specially made for ear stretching online
    http://www.onetribe.nu/category/11/

also try a "Natures Health Food" or "All Natural Vitamin" store you can find emu and jojoba oil there

or ask a local Tattoo Shops what they have instock
( at our shop we mix essential oils for keloid's and ear stretching )
if they don't have anything they may be able to order it for you

so that you don't have to order products offline

I use jojoba oil when I tape. I've found it online [Body Art Forms carries it] but now I like buying it at Trader Joes.

Why do you use the H2Ocean?
