See my make up is pretty cheap so it's not the best quality, but I need some tips of how to cover blemishes and even out my skin tone without it looking fake and blotchy. Please help!

What is the best way to apply foundation/concealer for school without it being noticable?

First, apply your concealer with a clean finger and just dab it on,
then do your foundation & MAKE SURE you blend it on your neck.
If your skin isn't oily, I would Cetaphil(super cheap super good moisturizer that doesn't clog pores)
on your face before you put any make up on.Posted 2 years ago # -
just blend it well, with a little foam pad thingy haha

I put a blob of moisturizer in my palms, rub it together and apply it all over my face, then with the residue of moisturizer on my hands, i put a small blob of foundation, rub is over my hands and apply it to my face. I've found its the best way to get a nice, even coverage that looks totally natural. Conceiler, i apply with a small brush. finish with a light dusting of powder with a large fluffy brush. maybe even add a hint of blush to add back the color that the foundation is covering. Totally natural.

make sure when you apply it to your face that when you get down to your chin and the bottom of your jaw blend VERY well right there almost get it on your neck because then people will be able to see a color difference! but you should go with a loose powder or a compressed powder its way healthy for your skin and it blends well!! and hides those ugly marks!

You should probably use a good tinted moisturizer if you want to go for a more subtle look. Laura Mercier has a really good one if not you can probably find a good drugstore one.

I'd suggest spending a few more dollars on a good foundation. Use primer! Primer creates a smooth and even base for the foundation to stick to so it won't break down or require touch-ups throughout the day. If you want a natural look, I suggest going to cosmetic counters and having your foundation matched. Mineral foundations are great, they go on light but give a very good coverage!
