I'm growing out my hair and I want to grow it out really long. I always keep it neat. It's dark brown and straight and usually looks really smooth and silky. I know people will say it depends, but IN GENERAL when does a girl's hair get too long and weird looking? Also, it's my natural color so I won't have to do any upkeep...thank you! Oh and I was thinking about to my waist?

When is a girl's hair TOO long?

Some folk answer what they are personally used to, or are willing to grow themselves. it only looks weird when most girls have short hair, and even then only they would call it weird. I'd call it special.
Those who say hair frames the face will never understand long hair, which frames the body.
For me personally, it is never too long. It is one of my greatest fantasies to be able to snuggle under a knee length blanket of loveliness. It looks really fabulous too, especially if it hasn't been cut about and spoiled.
I am not the one who has to live with it every day though. So the answer must be as long as she feels comfortable with it and can handle it. Waist is a good enough compromise - long enough to be special, and yet short enough to be able to wear it down without it getting in the way.

When its past your elbows, past that it just looks silly.
Id have layers put into it too if you were to have it that long :)xo

I think waist is too long. Half way down your back would be nice.

Any length looks good on a girl t b h, A girl in my College class had a PLAIT that went to her bum, & everyone knows that if you plait your hair it shortens the overall appearance of length so G Only knows how long it ACTUALLY was!!!
As long as it looks well cared for & kept tidy then I think as long as you like, try looking up the Guinness World Record holder....??

i would say waist is too long, i want to grow my hair too really long, but i'd say just past your chest, sort of elbow length, i think any longer just looks silly, and it looses the niceness of long hair <3
