Where to buy discontinued or special edition M.A.C makeup?

    At the C.C.O. (Cosmetics Company Outlet)
    It's a store that sells discounted and discontinued items from MAC and a couple other brands as well. I usually find them in outlet malls. But the variety of items vary each time you go depending on what they get shipped.

    ebay and amazon could work, sometimes craigs list as well, but personally, im not a fan of buying makeup products online from any of these sources. check department store websites, overstock.com, and the actual products website. you might have to do a little digging, like calling somebody from the company and asking if theres any store that might have any. if worst comes to worst, figure out the product that you want, if you have a sample of the color, etc. take it to a department store and they'll be able to create it, theres buisnesses just for this purpose. my favorite is taking it to a plum market store, or a place that has their special booth. they will mix it in front of you, create what you want, improvements included if you wish, and make it organic, and better for your skin. actually pretty cheap compared to other products out there. hope i helped, good luck!

    I wouldn't buy anything on eBay.. I'm sure a lot of it is fake. I loved MACs full coverage foundation but they stopped selling it to the general public! Not sure of any websites but good luck in finding some.

    You are very wise for not buying anything from eBay, as it's fake. Amazon, surprisingly has some fake MAC too.

    I recently went to a CCO, which is a Cosmetics Company Outlet. They sell old MAC collections there, but sparsely. You never know what you may get.

    On Makeup Alley, there is a swap section where you can trade your makeup with others, and in many cases, it can be slightly used.

    You can also try http://makeupalley.com/ There you can swap make up with others who may have what you are looking for.

    CCO's have lots of discontinued MAC, but there are few locations.
