Why can't my brother brush my hair without getting it knotty?

    I've broken my arm so I need my little brother to brush my hair for me

    ask him to do it in full strokes when brushing, not move it up and down constantly!
    use a comb before using a brush, comb removes knots better
    avoid brushing your hair wet!
    wash every other day to remove dirt and grease without drying out your hair by doing it daily.

    he's probably not brushing downwards.
    Plus, he should go with the flow of your hair, and not against it.
