    No. You should have your hair any way you like it and don't worry about what others think. I don't think it's a silly question.And if it was a silly question, I would have not answered it.

    LOL nahh if you are asking if it would be then it means you are fine xD if you werent...that's when you should worry, so no! sum men have layers on their haircut and they don't even notice. So who cares if it looks gud!

    No but what you should really do is take a picture with you of how you want your hair cut. "Layers" is a very general term. Find a picture in a magazine of a hairstyle you like and take it with you to explain how you want it cut and styled.
